Probably no fix till later this year though, hopefully before she goes back into hibernation.
Heard this was a quite long battle to get GM to recall this, which was weird considering the same recall was already done for the trucks. It’s actually the cheapo flex cable “sensor” in the passenger seat failing and snapping prematurely, like the stupid flex cable in my tablet that I fixed like 5 times.

By flex cable “sensor” do you mean it’s just a semi-taunt cable that activates the airbag depending when pushed fully taunt? I’m just asking because I’ve always wondered how that system worked w/o putting a scale in the seat lol.
